Living with and without
According to U.S. News and World Report, the 10 things Americans can’t live without are: portable computers, high-speed internet access, smart phones, education, movies, television, music downloads, pets, alcoholic beverages, and coffee.
Are these the top 10 most important things in YOUR life (that you could “not” do without)?
U.S. News and World Report also claims Americans are learning to live without the following 21 things: monthly payments, window shopping, bells and whistles, clutter, cable TV, a home phone, privacy, prepared foods, Tupperware parties, packaged cigarettes, lattes, guilt, extra calories, newspapers and magazines, health care, new gifts, new cars, comfort, a daily commute, fancy dates, and debt.
How they came up with this list or which people are on it I don’t know, but there seem to be a lot of things on it that I have yet to see many people learn to live without.
What are YOU living without – by choice or necessity? And what would you like to live without (if you could)?
